Barford + Co have announced their instructions to market what will be some of the newest industrial/business units to come to the market since before the onset of the recession in 2007. The Hampshire Building is being speculatively constructed at Tythe Farm in Colmworth and is to be developed to a high standard to included 5.5m minimum eaves height, 3-Phase electricity, electric roller shutter door access, power floated concrete floor and dedicated parking.

Howard Westgate, Associate Director at Barford + Co is handling the instruction and commented “The Hampshire Building is being constructed in such a manner that it will be divisible into units ranging in size from 1,327 sq ft up to 8,074 sq ft. A good range of size requirements can therefore be catered for with kitchen and WC facilities being provided as appropriate”.

Tythe Farm is already a popular business development with tenants including Woodfield Physiotherapy, Orka Golf, Albion Archaeology, Allan Peacock Street Lighting, Tek Floor and many others. The development is situated in a tranquil rural setting overlooking open countryside but only approximately 5 miles from the A1.

Construction of the Hampshire Building is expected to be completed by September 2014 with new leases being available on terms to be agreed.

Mr Westgate concluded “The local market has been suffering from a severe lack of high quality and new accommodation since the onset of the recession. Consequently, we are already talking to a number of parties regarding this opportunity”.

Barford + Co have produced marketing particulars for the development which are, together with any other information, available upon request.
