FIT AND READY TO GO - XTREME360 WELCOMES THE FITNESS FORGE AS NEW NEIGHBOUR THANKS TO BARFORD + CO SUB LETTING

The Fitness Forge, a new gym experience based in Eaton Socon, has recently opened -  thanks in part to a new commercial sub-letting arrangement negotiated by Barford + Co. Launched by owner Andy Howard, The Fitness Forge is a family-run gym priding itself on putting its customers first. With an ever growing demand for fitness facilities in the area, Andy saw the opportunity to develop his own business and help the local community stay fit and healthy in a dedicated environment.

With his knowledge of Barford + Co as a prominent business in St Neots, Andy looked to Barford for its support in helping him find the perfect location to launch his business. 

It was important to The Fitness Forge to find a property that could provide the gym with the space it needed, and the chance to design the space to what the local community wanted. Commenting on the project, Owner at The Fitness Forge Andy Howard said:

“I was already aware of Barford + Co as the largest provider of commercial property in St Neots, so I was immediately drawn to working with them to help source the right space for my gym. After discovering the property at Little End Road, it seemed like the perfect opportunity to sub-let from Xtreme360 due to the complimentary fitness nature of both our businesses, with the additional bonus of the property already having a fitness licence. Barford understood my desire to find the right space for our members and to further encourage the local community to stay active. If the gym looks to expand in the future, I would undoubtedly go back to the Barford team in light of their expertise in local property and their understanding of our business needs.”

The premises at 9 Little End Road, Eaton Socon provide a spacious environment for The Fitness Forge over two floors. The ground floor now showcases a large open free weight area, with the first floor offering studio space for classes; with an additional fitness suite, providing the latest cardio and weights machines. A large collection of spinning bikes are also on site, catering to the variety of customers that have already joined the gym. Andy has already invested in the property putting in brand new changing rooms, equipped with new washing and changing facilities.

The facility is sub-let to The Fitness Forge by Xtreme360 Trampoline Park, who themselves sourced their premises through Barford + Co. With additional space left on site, Xtreme360 returned to Barford + Co to help them find the perfect tenants to sub-let their surplus space.
