A company specialising in providing temporary access for the world high rise tower market has taken on a five year lease on premises in St Neots to accommodate its growth, announces Cambridgeshire surveying and planning practice Barford + Co.

Construction Access Systems Ltd, which has developed a modern Common Tower system to provide access solutions for some of the world’s most prestigious high rise buildings, will shortly move into the property in Eaton Socon, in a deal brokered by Barford + Co.

The company already has headquarters in Cambridge. Tony Faulkner, Managing Director of Construction Access Systems, said: “The company is growing due to high demand for our modern Common Tower system and the significant number of high rise buildings being constructed around the world. We needed another warehouse facility in the vicinity of our main office in Cambridge and the property in Eaton Socon fitted the bill.

“We have had to make some alterations to accommodate the size of our equipment but this is completely doable within the premises and we are looking forward to having the additional space for our specialist equipment.”

Howard Westgate is Associate Director at Barford + Co, he said: “The premises at Orion Court are of a very high specification and in an excellent location situated on the junction for the A428 and A1 with easy access to the company’s other site in Cambridge.

“Due to the nature of the company’s work, some alterations have been carried out to convert the unit into a full height warehouse providing a bespoke space for the company to operate in.”
