CAMBRIDGESHIRE SURVEYOR ACHIEVES REGISTERED VALUER STATUS

Chartered Surveyor Mike Duncan, from St Neots Chartered Surveyors and Planning Consultants Barford + Co, is celebrating achieving Registered Valuer status with the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.

Just last year Mike, who works in the Professional Services department at Barford + Co, passed his Assessment of Professional Competence, becoming a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.

This most recent accolade is the latest in a string of professional and academic accomplishments for Mike, which includes a Masters in Real Estate Development.

Registered Valuer status indicates that professionals are regulated and qualified, and are experts in their field committed to openness and transparency.

Mike, who has achieved both qualifications since joining Barford + Co less than two years ago, said: “I am delighted to have achieved Registered Valuer Status just over a year after becoming a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.  It’s recognition from our industry body that I am operating to the highest standard and it gives clients confidence they are working with qualified, credible professionals.

“Throughout my career I have always been keen to develop my skills and expertise and Registered Valuer status is another goal I have now achieved.”

Sheila Smyth, Director of the Professional Services department, said: “On behalf of the whole team at Barford + Co I’d like to extend my sincere congratulations to Mike. He works extremely hard and this latest professional achievement is testament to Mike’s diligence, commitment and dedication. Well done, Mike!”
