IT’S GREEN FOR GO AS MY GREEN LIGHTING SPEEDS INTO RAMSEY

Low energy lighting specialist My Green Lighting www.mygreenlighting.co.ukhas given the green light to a warehouse in Ramsey to become its new Head Office and distribution centre.

My Green Lighting, which supplies lighting products to retail and trade customers across the UK, has outgrown its current premises in Pidley and has purchased a larger warehouse in Ramsey to accommodate its need for more space.

The firm, which currently employs four staff, will use the industrial unit at 20 Highlode Industrial Estate predominantly for storage and distribution. The company also hopes to attract more commercial customers by establishing a showroom on site.

Andrew Davis is Managing Director of My Green Lighting and set up the business in 2004. He said: “Our smaller unit in Pidley has served us well over the years but now we’ve grown we need more space. The unit in Ramsey is giving us twice as much floor space with almost 7,000 sq ft so we can stock a larger range of products, and by purchasing premises rather than renting we’re investing in the business and will have more stability.

“We chose Ramsey as it offers good value for money and the larger premises will allow us to grow the commercial side of our business.”

It sits in a prominent position at the front of the estate and we therefore anticipate receiving a good level of interest in this opportunity.
