Having been vacant for several months, a shop on Ramsey High Street is available for rent once more following a refurbishment to update the premises, which also includes a two bedroom flat.

54 High Street, sold recently by local commercial property agents Barford +Co, will remain as a shop in keeping with its previous use. The retail unit, situated in a prominent position in the town centre of Ramsey, is expected to attract a high level of demand.

Howard Westgate, Associate Director at Barford + Co who sold 54 High Street to a developer, said: “We knew that this well located premises comprising a shop and flat in the popular market town of Ramsey would sell well. We’re delighted to hear the developer is keeping the premises as a shop, which is important for the town’s High Street, and we look forward to finding out which type of business will open there.”

David Coates, who purchased 54 High Street, said: “It was important to me that the property remained as a shop so that it wouldn’t disrupt the feel of the High Street. The shop and flat has been completely refurbished and the shop is now ready to be rented. Ramsey High Street features a good mix of shops; the size of number 54 makes it suitable for a wide range of retail businesses seeking to base themselves in the town.”
